Meditation Workshop with Lyn
Free meditation workshop to prepare for our classes.
Everywhere we look we see the scientific support for the benefits of meditation for absolutely everyone on top of it’s increasing medical use for specific complaints such as physical pain, addictions, lack of concentration, sleep difficulties, anxiety, and depression.
In this short workshop we start with the basics. You will find a comfortable seated posture and have an opportunity to explore questions you might have about the practice of meditation.
Lyn’s teaching is guided by the wisdom of a combination of eastern and western introspective traditions, by modern neuroscience research and insights into emotional healing. She has studied Tibetan, Hindu, Korean, and Mindfulness-based meditations. She is a certified teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction through UMASS. Lyn has led workshops and formal practice sittings for over 8 years.
