Yin yoga – a practice that targets the body between waist and knee. Poses are held 3-5 minutes promoting an increase in strength and flexibility of the lower spine, hips and large muscles of the thighs. This practice also stimulates the meridians of the lower body which may have a direct impact on organ health, as well as helping to release blocked energy stored in the joints.
